O lateral-esquerdo César falou sobre o confronto contra o Flamengo.
“Vai ser a primeira vez na competição que vamos atuar no Independência. Vamos entrar focados e com muita determinação para fazer o que fizemos durante a Copa do Brasil. Contar com o apoio da torcida vai ser super importante para conseguirmos um bom resultado na primeira partida diante do Flamengo”, disse César.
Para o volante Renan Gomes, que ainda está no primeiro ano de juniores, mas que tem tido cada vez mais chances na equipe, a Massa pode ser a diferença para a conquista do título.
“Jogar com estádio lotado é muito bom, mas jogar diante da torcida do Atlético é melhor ainda. Eles não param de cantar um minuto. Então a expectativa é a melhor possível para fazer um bom jogo diante da torcida”, falou.
O Atlético chegou à final da Copa do Brasil após vencer o Vasco por 3 a 2 em São Januário. A classificação do Galo só foi confirmada nos acréscimos da partida, quando o time virou o jogo para ficar com a vaga. Para não precisar passar por esse sufoco novamente, César aponta que o caminho é fazer o dever de casa e vencer o Flamengo em Belo Horizonte.
“Temos agora dois jogos importantíssimos com uma grande equipe, que é Flamengo. Vamos fazer o primeiro em casa, diante da torcida atleticana, e conto com o apoio de todos para a gente sair com um resultado positivo, que vai ser importante para o jogo da volta no Rio de Janeiro”, analisou.
